Financial Management – Data Migration

Customer is a recognized leader in the providing financial management and related supports for self-direction in USA.
Customer has provided financial management services in support of participant self-direction for a wide variety of populations.
Customer Currently provides financial management services for over 25,000 participants in 16 states, and manages over $350 million
in service claims annually.
Situation:
Customer is developing a next generation Web Portal and moving their end customers from legacy system to Portal one by one,
legacy system uses SQL Server 2000 database and data structure is very unorganized, which needs to ported to Portal
Sql Server 2008 database to move end customers to live.
Solution:
We were provided mapping structures and access to source and destination database, we succcessfully migrared millions of records
and handled mapping and data conversion. To migrate mix of SQL’s , Stored Procedures and DTS and SSIS packages were developed.
Exception Handling, Logging and Rollback code was included to hanlde unexpected issues.
